Healthy & Safe Schools Plan (HASS Plan) - 8-19-2026
In 2017, the Oregon State Legislature passed SB 1062, which requires that every school district develop a Healthy and Safe Schools Plan (HASS Plan). Pinehurst's HASS plan is reviewed annually and meets this requirement.

Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPM Plan)
The Pinehurst School District implements IPM by focusing on long-term prevention or suppression of pests through accurate pest identification, by frequent monitoring for pest presence, by applying appropriate action levels, and by making the habitat less conducive to pests using sanitation and mechanical and physical controls.

Pinehurst's C-REP Solar Project Grant - FAQs
In 2026, Pinehurst School was awarded a Community Renewable Energy Program grant from Oregon Department of Energy to construct a 19 kW solar array and 85.8 kWh of battery backup. This project will provide 100% of the electrical energy used by the school and allow Pinehurst to serve as a resilience hub for the community in extended power outage emergency events.

Talented and Gifted (TAG) students are an important part of every school community across Oregon. In Oregon, districts and schools must plan for how they will meet the academic and social-emotional needs of TAG students, specific to their local context, and communicate these plans to the students and families they serve.
